- Every slice is a celebration! For over 65 years, the Olesen family has continued to use the traditional methods of Old Denmark to make our Kringle. Each Kringle takes 3 full days to make, resulting in 36 delicate layers for a truly flaky and flavorful pastry. Combine our scratch made fillings from the finest ingredients we can find, you are certain to find a flavor suited just for you. With thirteen delectable and award-winning flavors, you'll find a favorite for everyone on your list. The Three Kringleteers Enjoy three of our most traditional flavors. Pecan Kringle, our most requested flavor is always a great choice to serve at breakfast with coffee. Children and adults alike love our Apple Kringle, stuffed with crisp Michigan apples in a cinnamon sprinkled filling. We then finish this package with our Cream Cheesecake Kringle which is filled with velvety smooth, Wisconsin cream cheese filling. Perfect for breakfast, dessert or anytime in between. Serving Instructions Kringle is best served at room temperature or warmed in the oven. Remove the Kringle from the wax bag, remove plastic sheet and remove from plastic tray. If a warm Kringle is desired, place in a 350 degree oven for 3 1/2 minutes. Kringle can also be warmed in a microwave. When ready to serve, cut Kringle into 1 or 2 inch slices. Then watch for approving looks and gestures. For storage, Kringle freezes well. To thaw, let stand for 6 hours in room temperature or 12 hours in a refrigerator. Shelf Life Kringle stay fresh for a long time. We recommend 7 days at room temperature, 10 days in the refrigerator and up to 6 months in the freezer. They freeze very well right inside the wax bag they come in.
