- Greenleaf's Octagon Shaped Dollhouse Shingles come in strips of 12 shingles… that means you can shingle 12 times as fast. They are laser cut to ensure a precision edge and they require no sanding. They are cut out of a thin birch veneer to insure that they remain true to scale in thickness. The vertical lines in the shingles act as a measuring guide. Just line up the points of the shingle with the top of the vertical line and you will have evenly, perfect spaced rows. That means no more wasting time drawing lines across your roof. These beautiful birch shingles are exactly what you need to add that special look to your miniature dream home. They can also be used on the side of your dollhouse for a decorative accent to your siding. Put a light coat of stain, paint or leave them natural for that real wood effect. Please note that these shingles are for half scale or 1:24 scaled miniatures. Each bag contains 34 strips for a total of 408 shingles that are .75" x 4.5". Total coverage is 56 square inches. Easy to follow instructions are included. This dollhouse accessory does not come with paint, glue, or other decorations. Recommended ages: Assembly - 13 and up. Finished dollhouses are not recommended for young children.
