- This Arctic Air undercounter freezer comes standard a 1-1⁄2-inch thick worktop surface, which can be removed to lower the unit's overall height to 34-1⁄8 inches. The AUC48F includes two self-closing doors that have been equipped with a heating element to prevent condensation, removable magnetic door gaskets, a stay-open feature that facilitates loading and unloading, and a foamed-in-place recessed handle for ease of us. This model is constructed from stainless steel, including the cabinet floor that is designed with easy-to-clean coved corners, with a white ABS plastic interior liner. Each section is equipped with one adjustable epoxy-coated wire shelf. The self-contained refrigeration system, which uses a capillary tube and R290 refrigerant, can maintain a temperature range of negative 10 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit, making it ideal for storing a variety of frozen items. To help maintain accurate and consistent temperatures, this undercounter freezer includes an electronic thermostat and exterior LED digital display. Four casters make it easy for the unit to be moved, and two of these casters can lock to keep it in place.
