- The JJC Ultra Slim UV Protector Filter is a general use, clear filter that helps absorb ultraviolet light and reduces the bluish cast of daylight. It is also useful as a basic protective filter to leave on lenses at all times, which reduces dust and moisture from reaching your lens element and provide additional protection in case of drops or situations where scratching could occur. This UV filter is crafted from 0.03 inch thick Japanese famous optical glass, double sides 12-layers of multi-resistant coating prevents internal ghosting and reflections while providing over 99.5% light transmission. It also offers greater protection to the filter substrate and helps it to stay clean for longer than with uncoated filters.
