- Featuring an extra-long easy pull-tab, Caplugs EZ Series Caps are sealed closures that provide full protection for your materials against dirt, moisture and impact damage. They can be used as thread protectors and during masking and plating operations. The extra-long tab centered at the top of the closure is easily removed by grabbing and pinching with your fingers, eliminating the use of tools which could damage thread parts or part surfaces. Tab lengths vary - this product's EZ-677-12 (99190381) tab length is 0.812" with respective cap and tab tip widths of 0.677" Cap W x 0.187" Tip W. The hardwearing vinyl material renders our caps capable of servicing a temperature range, from as low as -26° F (-32° C) to as high as 350° F (176° C), keeping your project protected from cold and heat that could potentially ruin your materials. Caplugs EZ Series Caps are constructed from a flexible, durable vinyl material that makes our caps pliable enough to be manipulated easily with your hands but also sturdy enough for them to fit snugly on parts, enabling a consistently complete seal.
