Scotch-Brite Clean and Strip XT Pro is a stripping disc that uses silicon carbide abrasive mineral incorporated into a purple nonwoven nylon web. It quickly removes paint, rust, mill scale, adhesives and other coatings from metal surfaces without damaging the base material. The fibers of this metal stripping disc are highly conformable without compromising strength, meaning improved effectiveness on work piece edges. Here’s how it works: the silicon carbide mineral is embedded into the nylon fibers that gradually break down over time to reveal new fibers and fresh mineral – ensuring a consistent cut over the life of the product. The XT Pro disc is the next generation of the classic clean and strip rust and paint stripping disc. Compared to previous generations, this Clean and Strip XT Pro Disc offers low vibration, decreased chunking, low spark, a higher speed rating and longer life. That all adds up to a stripping disc you can spin onto your right angle grinder with confidence.
