- Upgrade your Springfield XD, XDM, or XDS with the ADE RD3-009 Red Dot Reflex Sight, built for accuracy, ease of use, and durability. This compact optic includes both a Picatinny mount and an aftermarket mounting plate that replaces the factory rear sight on non-OSP models. It does not fit OSP (Optic Ready) versions with factory optic cuts. This red dot sight features a 6 MOA reticle and Motion Awake Technology, which automatically powers down the illumination after inactivity and instantly reactivates with movement. Built with a full metal housing and precision-ground lenses, it delivers a crisp, parallax-free sight picture in low-light environments. The included optic plate is for replacing the rear sight. IMPROVED DESIGN SINCE 2014 – This is ADE's entry level red dot originally released in 2014. Over the years of improvement, it is one of best budget red dots for the quality at this price range. We have made it more durable to withstand recoil and improved the ability to hold zero. Designed in Oregon. Starting Jan 2024, this red dot is shipped with Motion Awake Technology. COMPACT SIZE & WATERPROOF RATING – Dimension: 1.9" length x 1.1" width x 1.0" height. IP67 Waterproof. The lens is coated with multi-coating to eliminate glare and provide a high level of performance in low light. Lenses are precision ground and polished to exacting geometries to virtually eliminate parallax and to provide a very clear, crisp sight picture. ASTIGMASTISM REMINDER- If you're not seeing a perfect round dot but instead observe a splashed dot, half-moon shape, multi-dot, or starburst, there's a high probability (99%) that you might have astigmatism without being aware of it. What you perceive is likely a small reflection of the LED light on the lens. A quick and simple way to confirm this is by using your cellphone to take a photo of the dot. If the photo shows a circular dot, you've essentially diagnosed yourself with astigmatism.
