The greatest privilege that God has accorded mankind is to have his sin’s forgiven and enter into a holy relationship with Him. We must, however, not fail to realise that this relationship requires diligence on our path to understand and adhere to the fundamental teachings (doctrines) of Christ. True Christian fellowship is based on the doctrines of our Lord and Saviour. The early Church did not practise ‘blind-fellowship’. In accordance with Christ’s example, admittance into their midst was determined by the people’s willingness to align with the Lord’s teachings passed down to the Apostles. Instead of allowing fellowship to determine doctrine, it is the doctrine that determined their fellowship (Acts 2: 41, 42). My sincere prayer for is that you will carefully go through these fundamental teachings of Christ. Study them and allow the Holy Spirit to give you divine understanding.
