Then, ensure the surface is completely dry before proceeding. Even a tiny amount of moisture or residue will prevent the suction cups from adhering properly. Test the surface with your finger; it should feel perfectly smooth and not textured. Step 2: Activate and Apply the Suction Cups Before application, moisten the suction cups slightly with a few drops of water. This creates a better initial seal. Do not use soap or oil. Press the base of the soap dish firmly against the prepared surface, ensuring all suction cups make full contact. Press the center of each suction cup firmly for 10-15 seconds to force out all air bubbles and create a strong vacuum. Step 3: The Crucial Curing Time After installation, the product's strength will increase over the next 24 hours. Do not place any items in the tray or put weight on it for at least 8-12 hours. This allows the suction cups to set and form a permanent bond with the surface fully. During this time, avoid moving the tray or getting it wet. This curing period is essential for achieving the maximum weight capacity and long-term hold, especially in a humid shower environment. The suction performance may diminish over several months due to mineral buildup or soap film. We recommend removing and re-installing the tray (following Steps 1 and 2) every 2-3 months to maintain optimal adhesion. This simple maintenance routine will ensure your product lasts for years.
