- The Milescraft Lock Mate PLUS and Hinge Mate 300 kits complement each other perfectly for installing and replacing interior and exterior doors. The Lock Mate PLUS kit allows for quick and easy installation of door locks and knobs. Its self-clamping design sets up in seconds without screws or hardware. The non-marring clamp has a wide rubber surface that grips the door instantly and prevents slipping. Bi-metal cobalt hole saws make drilling through wood or metal doors fast and smooth. It adjusts for standard 1-3/8” and 1-3/4” door thicknesses and 2-3/8” or 2-3/4” backsets for compatibility with most common locks. The Hinge Mate 300 kit includes templates to rout accurate mortises for hinges, strike plates, and latch plates without damaging the door jamb. Its sturdy steel frame mounts securely to the door and jamb. The tungsten carbide tipped 1/2" router bit cleanly cuts mortises for hinges from 2-1/2" to 4-1/2". Rotating dual-position templates create rounded or square mortises. Centered tabs ensure precise alignment, while the easy-to-use design sets the proper depth automatically based on door thickness. With the self-aligning Lock Mate PLUS for quickly installing locks and the Hinge Mate 300 for routing accurate mortises, these two kits form the perfect bundle for installing or replacing doors without damages.
