DIN cup is designed and manufactured in accordance with the German standard DIN 53211, commonly used in the determination of the viscosity of inks, paints, lacquers, etc., and is relatively easy to use. It consists of a high-quality aluminum cup with a capacity of about 100 ml and a stainless steel leakage nozzle. The viscosity of the test solution is assessed by determining the time required for the test solution to flow out of the leakage nozzle.
