- The Bluelab ORP Probe (PROBORP) is a durable and precise oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) probe designed for professionals who require accurate and stable readings in water quality monitoring. Built with platinum precision and ceramic stability, this probe ensures reliable ORP measurements, making it ideal for hydroponics, agriculture, aquatics, and water treatment applications. Engineered for long-lasting performance, the Bluelab ORP Probe features a ceramic diaphragm, platinum spiral electrode, and a double-junction design, all housed in a sturdy polycarbonate body for durability in various operating environments. The standard BNC connector ensures seamless integration with compatible ORP meters, while the 2-meter (6.6-foot) cable allows for flexible and convenient use. This probe is suitable for use with chlorine-based sanitisers, including hypochlorous acid (HOCl), hypochlorite (OCl⁻), and chlorine dioxide (ClO₂), but is not compatible with hydrogen peroxide. It is designed for optimal use with Bluelab's ORP Meter (sold separately), ensuring precise sanitation and water treatment monitoring. To maintain accuracy and longevity, the probe includes a KCl-filled storage cap to keep the electrode properly hydrated. Designed for use in solutions with an electrical conductivity (EC) of 0.2 and above, the Bluelab ORP Probe operates efficiently within a temperature range of -5 to 80°C (23–176°F).
