  • KILLERS, CATTLE DRIVES, FAITH, AND AN UNCERTAIN FUTURE IN 1880’S NEBRASKA Kit Tolliver, pastor of a mountain valley church in the west, has lost his wife and unborn child. While going through the grieving process, he receives a visit from a former ranch Foreman who tells him that a friend from his past is about to lose her ranch to a greedy land baron backed by a group of gun-toting toughs who may have been responsible for her husband’s death. Tolliver leaves his six-gun behind and saddles up to help save the ranch by returning to Red Cloud where he worked, killed a man, and fell in love years ago before he found God. Along the way, he enlists the help of a beautiful twice married-twice divorced scion of Chicago society to provide the financial backing necessary to conduct a trail drive which will save the ranch. The outlaws and the perils of a cattle drive stampede bring the two together in ways that may cost them their lives. From two different backgrounds and two different faith perspectives, they are thrown together in an uncertain future that only God can resolve. ***** Bob Zinnecker is a 55-year veteran of the telecommunications industry.
