- Springfield Speaker 1.96" Subwoofer Coil Replacement Kit - Recoil kit - Dual 2 Ohm - ONLY compatible with Kicker L7 12 inch or 15 inch Solobaric Subwoofers that used a 1.96 inch ID Dual 2 ohm coil from the factory. (2.38 inch ID and 2.58 inch ID versions also available in a different kit) Different sized and ohms of coils are NOT interchangeable for this application. Kit shown in photo is an example, and may not be specific to this speaker. COILS ARE MEASURED BY INNER DIAMETER!! THIS IS A CUSTOM KIT. To most car audio guys, it is common knowledge that Stillwater Designs does not sell replacement parts or kits for their L7 Solobaric line of subwoofers. This is a custom kit that includes all the needed parts and adhesives to do your own custom coil replacement on your L7 Solobaric Subwoofer. **NOTES** #1 - You MUST reuse your original terminal plate, cone, and surround. #2 - Kit includes all the adhesives, shims, and wires needed. #3 - This is NOT a drop-in kit - this is a professional kit. #4 - Instructions are not included. THIS IS A NOT A PRE-ASSEMBLED DROP-IN KIT. Kit includes: 1 - Heavy-duty 1.96 in ID dual 2 Ohm voice coil custom-wound on black aluminum former (upgrade from original kapton) 3 - Heavy-duty spiders (correctly-sized) Some verions use 1, some use 2 1 - 3.25 inch inverted dust cap (gray or black with no logo) 1 - Bottle of professional-grade CA Adhesive (for voice coil) 1 - Spray bottle of CA Adhesive Activator 1 - Tube of professional-grade clear-drying rubber speaker adhesive 8 - Large speaker shims (Note cards) 2 - Tin application brushes 2 Ft of lead wire rated up to 3500W peak (Sub will remain at factory rating) 2 Lengths of shrink tube for coating your new leads THIS IS A NOT A PRE-ASSEMBLED DROP-IN KIT!
