Built on a Winter Extreme last and featuring double the insulation of previous models, it’s designed as a new standard for extreme cold‑weather cycling footwear. The upper uses water‑resistant full‑grain leather combined with abrasion‑resistant, waterproof leather for long‑term durability and cold‑weather performance. A seam‑taped membrane bootie, waterproof membrane, and protective leather over‑flap with reflective panels help seal out snow and slush while adding visibility. Inside, the boot is 100% lined with temperature‑regulating fabric, backed by Thinsulate insulation and a composite six‑layer footbed that forms a temperature‑isolating barrier between you and the ground—keeping warm air in and cold air out. Underfoot, Lake’s Enduro sole with ICE LOCK anti‑slip tread inserts (micro‑glass‑fiber lugs) delivers confident traction in icy, mixed‑surface conditions, while the 50/50 sole rating balances on‑bike efficiency with off‑bike comfort. Fit is dialed in via dual BOA dials—tongue‑mounted and side‑mounted—with dual Click‑Fit quick release for easy entry and exit and secure foot and heel hold without restricting circulation.
