- HomeSmart weighted blankets are designed for adults who prefer deeper pressure and full bed coverage rather than the smaller, lighter blankets commonly found in the category. Our queen and king weighted blankets are intentionally oversized so they drape naturally over the sides and foot of the bed like a traditional comforter. Many weighted blankets are designed just to sit on top of the sleeper, but the generous dimensions of our blanket provide up to 14 inches of overhang so the blanket feels secure and balanced across the bed. HomeSmart Weighted Blankets are constructed with seven layers of high-quality materials. Tiny non-toxic glass beads are added to the many small pockets that are sewn within several of the blankets’ interior layers. This is what gives weight to the blanket. This construction allows the weight to remain balanced throughout the blanket so the pressure feels consistent instead of shifting to one side. The breathable fabric shell allows airflow while maintaining the steady pressure that weighted blanket users appreciate for relaxing and sleeping.
