This is what causes the hoses and joints to pop apart! It ALSO puts a LOT of backpressure on the pump, making it work VERY hard to pump the water thru those blue spikes. When the user has less than a dozen water outputs, the blue spikes shouldn't be connected to the output hoses. Just let the water pour out of the little hose ends. You then use the blue spikes to hold the end of the hose in position (hose under short end of spike).
