Mirror Hanging - Install clips above and below the mirror for a secure, professional finish. 2. Canvas & Artwork Mounting Also known as Z-Brackets or Z-Clips, these stepped metal clips are used to affix stretched canvas to a frame. Each clip has a hole on both ends: one end is fastened to the stretcher bar frame, and the other to the back of the picture frame. Offset clips allow artwork that is slightly larger or smaller than the depth of the frame rabbet to fit securely. They can also attach a canvas to a floater frame, or even secure a pop-up camper canvas. To use, place your canvas in the frame and measure the distance from the back of the frame to the back of your canvas to determine the correct size.
