Important before you buy: This unit records and converts video, but it does not play VHS tapes by itself. A separate playback device is required. Recording quality depends on the condition of the original tape and the playback device. HDMI recording works with compatible video sources only and may depend on source signal and content protection. Helpful notes: USB drives and SD cards must be formatted as FAT32 or NTFS. exFAT is not supported. For best results, confirm that your storage device is recognized before recording, press REC before starting playback, and allow processing to finish completely before turning the unit off or unplugging it.
