BEST Bars are made of fingerjointed wood to provide for greater strength and straightness of your bars. Our beefy 1-1/2-inch by 2-inch profile supports very large works and allows for gallery wrapping of your canvas. We recommend cross bracing any dimension over 36-inch. Cross bracing prevents bowing of the wood and helps keep your artwork square and flat over time. We recommend our BEST Key System be installed on all stretched canvas to enable easy tightening of your canvas should wrinkles appear in the future.
