The Ambu I.V. Trainer is a medical training device used by healthcare professionals and training non-professionals to practice and learn various intravenous methods. Made with high-quality materials, including latex for the skin, veins, and arteries and a hard PVC outer shell, the I.V. Trainer provides a realistic simulation for practicing intravenous injections and phlebotomy. With a movable wrist and rotating arm functions, trainees can have an even more realistic experience. The trainer can be used to practice the insertion of cannulas and catheters, the infusion of fluids, the injection of medication, blood sampling, and pulse measurement. It has a radial pulse that can be manually simulated and felt on the wrist, an indicator panel that mimics blood vessels and displays immediate feedback, a fluid reservoir, and a valve system that reduces the chance of air pocket formation in blood vessels. The kit includes a practice arm with 3 veins and 1 artery, an infusion stand, red dye concentrate, talcum powder, and 5 ml and 50 ml syringes. Everything can be stored away in the convenient nylon carrying bag. Pair with any AmbuMan manikin with arm holes.
