Look for the Ladbrooke logo on the Maxi, Mini 4, and Micro 20. The Master Grower is our full set that includes all the pieces for the well known "nesting" system of soil blocking. The Ladbrooke 6-Pc “Master Grower” nesting set of soil blockers includes: Ladbrooke Maxi, Mini 4, Micro 20, snap in Cube Inserts, Dowel Pins, and Seed Pins. The Cubic Inserts, Dowel Pins, and Seed Pins must be inserted into the Mini 4. To make soil blocks, potting soil is compressed wet into the soil block mold and then discharged into a tray with the ejection handle. Soil blockers make a "pot-less" pot for starting seeds. With soil blocks, roots are air-pruned and transplant shock, stunting, slow-growth is greatly reduced. These are utilitarian, hand-made gardening tools. The black EP coating offers superior corrosion resistance by creating a dense, impermeable barrier against moisture, oxygen, and soil chemicals, which also extends the lifespan of these garden tools.
