  • REVIEWS RECEIVED FOR BRINKLEY BY Rattle 'A classic rock song with great energy and an entertaining singer. The guitars rock this song and when they reach the climax we hear the singer again giving his all. His voice is reminiscent of David Bowie. This is a new a song with promise.' 'This song opens with a dynamic guitar and percussion melody. The vocalist has a confident delivery and a natural espressive sound that lends itself well to rock. The background accompaniment is solid, and the guitar solos are riveting. I think the song has multiple strengths in the accompaniment and the vocals.' 'I like the intro of rock 'n roll because it starts off hard core. The artist has excellent energy. And the producer worked hard on the creativity of the song. I would buy it if released today. I listen to good guitar players all the time and this is good.' 'The introduction gave me the chills because it was so powerful. The vocals came in right on time and prevented me from getting bored of listing of the same beat for seconds. The voice itself was very soothing for a rock 'n roll song which is a nice contrast. I like the guitar solo which added a tougher edge to this calm song. This type of rock 'n roll will appeal to most people because it's the perfect ratio of talent, creativity, and difference. The harmony was very solid and the chorus was also a big plus of the song. I would give the song an eight out of 10.' 'Cool rock 'n roll song. A song that brings back memories. It has an old-school feel to it, that's what I like about it. A song that I listen to at night while driving and just blast it. A song like this would be perfect for concert.' 'intro is hard-core with a rock 'n roll style that has a cutting edge in this field of music. The artist has a message that will cause the listeners to pay attention to what he is saying. Guitarist played like a pro! Live recording to me is the best, when you know what you're doing. Nice song.' 'I like how the song starts out using the camera shutter as the instrumental and caught my attention. After the introduction, it led into the main song which was hard rock. I enjoyed how the songwriter used lyrics in a cool way and in a rock style too. Nicely written music and 100% for me!' 'Love the beginning camera sound! Mini guitar solo in the beginning was also awesome. The vocals remind me of classic rock like Aerosmith are some bands in the 60s. I really like the rock 'n roll feel that persist throughout the song. Vocals really match the guitar and drums in the background. The song would really appeal to those who enjoy rock 'n roll, attracting teens and adults. Very instrument based composition.' REVIEWS RECEIVED ON CELESTE (She's the one....) by Rattle 'OK a phone message at the beginning... It does have a nice sound though with the guitar/singer. I like the mellowness to this. It creates a sense of calmness and determination. The montage in the middle of the song is it a great variety of sound and feeling. The song had me going from start to finish! Great love song that doesn't sound like a love song! The instrumentals sound awesome in the song. Great job all round.' 'An answering machine greeting is not the most innovative way to open a song but it works well here. You almost anticipate a slamming dance track, but instead we hear a subdued and melodically beautiful male vocal. The pretty vocal melody weaves it's way along a steady pulsing beat and a layer of appealing instruments. The premise of the song seems to be that the singer is leaving the lyrics of the song as a message on Celeste's answering machine. Because the words are so thoughtful and lovely, this premise works well and has a certain poignancy. At one point, as he sings that he is thinking more about her lately, the guitars become larger, more dramatic, and quite powerful in a different way from the beginning. Guitars burst into a wall of electric sound during an instrumental bridge, and you can envision the woman playing her 'message' and falling in love with the singer just as the listener will fall in love with this dynamic and unique sounding track. The singer returns for a soft final reading of the hook, ending the song on a solemn and poignant note. Amazing track.' 'I like the melodic quality of this song. The instruments sound really good. Very warm drum sounds nice rich guitar strums. The vocals are very nice. The quality and uniqueness of the vocals are very apparent. Lyrics are very thoughtful and well produced. The song is dynamic and I can definitely hear this on a movie soundtrack and on the radio. The song is very lush and emotional.' 'interesting intro, reminding me of an era of answering machines at home versus today's cell phone oriented world which is echoed in the laid-back feel. This song has a cool vibe and a pathos that I really like, sort of like a stonery and kind of wistful long afternoon. The vocals have a good degree of originality and the instrumentation has good use of electronics while retaining an organic feel. The song doesn't have a lot of variation in terms of standard verse, chorus, ramped up bridge etc. But as this is a groove oriented tune, this is actually a strong suit and a nice change from overwritten or boilerplate tunes. I don't like to hand out high ratings like candy but I think audiences in this area, whatever that might be, would probably really like this song.' 'The guitar in the beginning sounds like a sad song coming up. His voice is perfect and I can hear all the lyrics clearly the song comes up as one of the best I've heard on here (...soundout). The soft beat of the instruments and the guitar complement his voice so much. How is this not a hit single? Probably the best song I've heard so far and before I almost submitted (review for soundout) the beat changed and made the song 100 times better. The beat makes it sound like a great song. Not sad song anymore.' 'So creative. I like the way the artist is singing to the voicemail. I think the lyrics are very thoughtful and from the heart. The song cannot go wrong. It's about having a good day and being with someone. She's the one is a hit, and belongs on the radio. This song is very rich and warm. Best wishes.' REVIEWS RECEIVED FOR LETTING GO BY Rattle 'The piano is very charming on this track. It has an engaging sound that is lovely. The music is fantastic. It is the kind of tune that has a concert performance like feel to it that is nice. The music unfolds nicely. You can hear the passion in his voice.' 'Intro is slow and methodical could be country or rock. The clear stylish vocals have a rock 'n roll feel to them. I like the range of the vocals high and low with a Joe Cocker sound to it. Very heartfelt lyrics. The song is compelling and thought-provoking. The instruments are under professional and talented control. The structure of the song is quality. Very clever use of rich vocals, meaningful lyrics and driven instruments. The artist is getting a rare nine rank for their honesty and natural expression. They have created more than music, they have created a fan.' 'Cool slow easy sound and singing. A good meaning of the words. We need more singers who have meaning, not just loud noise. They have everything going right into a great song. Really like the singer.' 'The singer had a dreamy voice that was a little hard to understand, but that did not take away anything from the song. The song was refreshing and I got a kick out of the beat and rhythm. I like this song. I would recommend. It was something different that I would want to listen to again.' 'Very deep soft melodic start to this song. You can then make out guitar strumming, quite old sounding almost like it was from the 70s. Love the lyrics and vocals --really interesting use of instruments and sounds on this piece. Definitely making for a very strong sound. I was trying to figure out who this band sounds like altered from 70s bands to Kings of Leon. Ended up loving the song would definitely recom
