We engrave each brass plate here in our small family shop using our diamond-drag engraving process, which creates clear and precise lettering. The brass has a baked-on enamel finish, and our engraving removes that finish to reveal the brass underneath. The engraved areas are then darkened with an oxidizing solution. These plates are intended for indoor use and work well for picture frames, artwork, plaques, memorials, awards, and similar projects. You can choose from our available font options in the listing to personalize the plate for your order.
