This long-lasting cutting wheel uses 3M Precision-Shaped Grain to deliver a fast and consistent cut through pipes, tubes or flat sheets of stainless steel, mild steel, aerospace alloys and more. This ceramic grain lasts exceptionally long, continuously fracturing into super-sharp points and edges that slice cleanly through metal. 3M Silver Cut-Off Wheels last significantly longer than metal cutting wheels made with conventional ceramic grain, while maintaining a high cut-rate through the life of the wheel. These 3” metal cutting wheels can be used with either pneumatic or electric grinder tools and feature a flat, type 1 cutting surface profile. The 3M Silver Cut-Off Wheel is part of the 3M Advanced Series of abrasives, for operators who want a high-performance cutting wheel without the premium price. Their long-lasting performance combined with a value price can help lower your overall abrasive spend.
