A step up from Calmer with a precision engineered aerospace aluminium reflector encased in a soft silicone outer for the most calming, yet accurate sound to date. The precision engineered aluminium core channels sound even more accurately than the original Calmer. The rigid aluminium surface results in an improved audio experience maintaining the same great reduction of stressful noises but with further reductions in high frequency distortion. Less sound attenuation means users don’t feel withdrawn from the outside world. The exterior silicone skin provides the soft ear hugging Calmer shape we’re familiar with complete with the easily reachable stem. Calmer reduces stress by removing distortion that would usually trigger the human ‘fight or flight’ response. While this response was a vital part of our evolution to alert us to the slightest sound or threat, in today’s modern world where we no longer need to be alert to the snap of a twig, this added resonance is loading us with unnecessary stress.
