- After one look at our wall decor, you’ll see why we say the world doesn't build things the way they used to, but we do. There is something special about our handmade work. Each rustic sign is made from the reclaimed wood of 100 year old buildings, giving it a story and a soul. Our craftsmen find authentic barnwood that is then milled down to create a vintage wall art that tells the story of the children who once walked across them, the animals kept warm and dry, and the hands that skillfully built the barn over a century ago. Every piece of shabby chic wall art we make has unique tones producing a boho look and coloring ranging from white, gray, brown and rich brown. They are not intended to look new or perfect and no two will ever be exactly the same. You’ll notice slight aesthetic imperfections including knots, scuffs, nail holes, and cracks on our farmhouse decor. The wood frame makes for easy hanging and placement in your home. Our story began about 25 years ago after creating our first pieces and taking them to a local art fair. We saw first-hand how excited people felt about our handmade wall decor. Since those early days of working until the wee hours in our garage, we have expanded our designs and production.
