Nylon 6, Nylon 6,6, and Nylon 12 are combined in TriPolymer to create a line that is not Fluorocarbon, not Monofilament, but the best of both. The tri-extrusion blend of Nylon resins creates a line with low refraction similar to Fluorocarbon. Fish won’t see it underwater. No other co-polymer monofilament can make this claim. TriPolymer is highly abrasion resistant with amazing strength and durability. SUPER SMOOTH – TriPolymer Advanced Monofilament’s 3-layer tri-extrusion process incorporates the best properties of 3 different grades of Nylon. Strong Nylon 12, High Abrasion Resistance Nylon 6,6, and smooth Supple Nylon 6. A smooth surface unlike any other monofilament that casts further with very little friction through the rod guides. HIGHLY ABRASION RESISTANT – TriPolymer Advanced Monofilament exhibits abrasion resistance that exceeds traditional copolymer monofilament and Fluorocarbon by up to 2X. Higher abrasion resistance equates to greater knot strength which means fewer lost fish due to knot failure. LOW STRETCH – TriPolymer Advanced Monofilament has a stretch factor that averages 12% lower than traditional copolymer monofilament. Lower stretch allows you to feel even the slightest bite.
