- The VOSKER VKX Outdoor Security Camera is a fully autonomous solar-powered cellular security camera designed for off-grid surveillance without Wi-Fi, cables, or external power. Operating exclusively on cellular connectivity, it features an integrated solar panel that performs best in direct, unobstructed sunlight, ideally facing south. Solar performance varies based on light quality and positioning. The camera operates in temperatures from -20°C to +50°C (-4°F to 122°F), with performance degradation possible outside this range. For long-term storage, remove batteries, clean the unit, and store in a cool, dry, airtight container with silica gel. The VKX captures transmitted photos at 640 × 360 resolution (approx. 14.5 KB per photo) and supports HD on-demand photo requests at 1920 × 1080 (approx. 76.9 KB per photo). In night mode, 850nm infrared LEDs provide black-and-white images at both 640 × 360 and 1920 × 1080 resolutions. Identification range is up to 100 feet for persons and vehicles under optimal conditions. Motion detection triggers 15-second MPEG-4 video clips averaging approximately 2.33 MB each. Recording capacity averages about 1.7 hours of 1080p footage per GB. The included 32GB Class 10 microSD card stores up to approximately 54 hours of video (about 12,960 clips) or up to 75,000 photos, depending on settings and activity. A minimum Class 10 microSD card with 10MB/s write speed is required; supports up to 512GB. Installation typically takes 10-15 minutes using a Phillips screwdriver or impact driver. Two standard 1/4″-20 tripod mount points support standard and third-party mounting systems. SIM activation occurs in approximately 5 minutes after powering on, with setup completed through a guided mobile app process. Designed for farms, job sites, remote properties, and areas without Wi-Fi, the VOSKER VKX delivers solar-powered cellular monitoring with configurable detection settings and app-based photo and clip management.
