Compatibility first: The Side Winder is a cable management case for your existing Apple MacBook power adapter. It does not include a charger. It will not fit Apple 30W or 35W chargers, the 70W charger, or the 140W charger. It also does not fit iPad or iPhone chargers. Please check the sizing guide in the images and the wattage printed on the bottom of your adapter before ordering. The Side Winder lets you wind, protect, and store your compatible MacBook charger in under 5 seconds. The patented design was 1600 percent funded on Kickstarter and is engineered to tame the full length of your charger cable without kinks or tangles. Inside, revolving rings guide the cable as you turn the knob to wind it in and out smoothly, which helps prevent sharp bends that can damage the wire. Installation is simple: route your existing MacBook charging cable through the Side Winder using the included inserts, close the case, then pull out only the length you need. When you are done, twist the crank to retract the cable back into a compact, protected coil. The minimalist, monochromatic shell is sized to drop easily into bags and backpacks and visually matches your MacBook and other Apple gear, keeping your charger protected and your workspace clean.
