The Squids 3708 Wire Tool Attachment has a screw gate closure to securely connect tool lanyards to tools with small captive holes. Connection points for tool lanyards are not always readily available on some tools, which can create hazardous environments while working at-heights. Tethering your tools should be a part of an overall fall protection plan to reduce the risk of dropped objects and increase workplace safety. The Wire Screw Gate Tool Tail is the unsung hero of most fall protection systems and is perfect for tethering tools like utility knives, small levels, speed squares, insulated pliers, and other tools with small captive holes. STRAIGHTFORWARD INSTALLATION The one-time assembly creates a quick and easy one-step attachment to connect a tool lanyard to tools with no attachment points. Simply unscrew the wire screw gate tool tail and stick one end through a captive hole on the tool. Bring the other end around and screw it closed to complete your loop. No tape or shrink are necessary with this attachment solution. The screw gate tool attachment is made of a strong steel wire that is corrosion resistant to withstand weathering and has black PU coating over the wire for extra protection and durability. TESTED TO BE TRUSTED These tool tether attachments are built to withstand defined weight limits and can easily be used by any worker to help avoid accidentally dropping objects that could cause damage, injuries or possibly death. These attachments are third-party certified to 3lbs // 1.4kg maximum capacity and meet the ANSI/ISEA 121-2023 standard with all required labeling.
