A 3-position cutting head shifts the blade path forward to optimize cuts and extend blade life. Powered by the EVOMAX 15A intelligent motor with active blade speed optimization, the saw delivers 30% longer blade life while minimizing electrical stress with a soft start and stopping the blade quickly with an electronic brake. The EVOMAX ultra-long life cermet carbide blade—handcrafted in Japan—delivers 3,500+ cuts in 4” mild steel, 50% more than leading competitors. For unmatched accuracy, a shadow line cut guide clearly shows the blade path for precise alignment in any environment. A reinforced ¼" steel fence and ribbed cast alloy base eliminate flex under heavy clamping, making this the strongest Evolution saw yet.
